This will just be a short diary but it is sure to warm your heart. OPP constable David McNab and his wife Kristy Hiltz co-sponsored a refugee Syrian family of four — a mother and her three children, Ansam,13, Ibrahim,10 and Dalya, who is 9. They arrived in Canada on December 30. McNab  said the family is excited to be in Canada and are loving all sorts of new experiences including going tobogganing on Armour Hill in Peterborough, Ont.

Watch for the young lady in blue at about the 50 second mark looking very nervous and crying 'Oh no!!!’ and then by the end of the video having a blast and climbing up the hill to have another go at it.

McNab said on his Youtube account “Snow is a new experience but fun in any language looks the same.”
